description The Accumulation Regime in the Southern American Countries since the 1990s. Regulation Crisis or Accumulation Crisis? This article sheds light on the paths of Argentina’s and Brazil’s growth regimes since the 1990s. Despite the labour productivity increase, growth has not benefited the population homogenously. Wage earners have been particularly affected by macroeconomic volatility and excluded from the benefits of economic growth. The economies of these two countries have been used to illustrate the excluding growth regime. The analysis has placed particular emphasis on the ruptures and continuities of the Kirchner’s and Lula’s administrations.
