Summary:The contemporary society presents itself strongly rooted in the use and development of technologies that in one of its aspects; present themselves as fast and powerful media of information and communication. This reality, as it could not fail to be, also influences the field of Education: books, newspapers, television, video, computer, teaching equipment and various educational systems, among others, present themselves as media, educational potential, both inside and outside the school. From a historical approach and testimony to try to see how this occurs, take the view of specialists in media and technology applied to the teaching of science of nature, which played important role in the implementation of various programmes in that area: Claúdio Zaki Dib, Ernst Hamburger and Norberto Cardoso Ferreira.
