Description
Summary:Abstract Systemic lupus erythematosus is a multisystem autoimmune disease associated with a variety of arterial and venous thrombotic manifestations when combined with antiphospholipid syndrome. We present a case report of a 23‐year‐old female patient with a recent diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus who was admitted for abdominal pain and later diagnosed with splenic infarction via abdominal computed tomography. This was the only hematologic manifestation, with no prior history of thrombotic events or antiphospholipid antibodies.
