Summary:Abstract Due to their rapid growth, electric four-wheelers are now vital components of the global environmental sustainability movement. Using bibliometric tools, the study examined 542 papers from the Scopus database to track research on the relationship between electric four-wheelers and environmental sustainability. This study looks at the relationship between electric four-wheelers and environmental sustainability between 2014 and 2024. To show the network of authors, nations, journals, and keywords, bibliometric analysis tools such as the Bibliometric R programming package and VOSviewer software were utilized. The findings indicate a significant surge in publications pertaining to environmental sustainability and electric four-wheel drive between 2014 and 2024. The most cited article is Tomaszewska A et al. (eTransportation 1: 100011, 2019). When it comes to affiliation-based publications, Tsinghua University is at the forefront. China is the second-leading country in this field of study, after Poland. Energies is one of the top publishing publications. Overall, the study emphasizes the significance of the relationship between electric four-wheelers and environmental sustainability. In addition to providing useful information to academics, policymakers, and industry participants who aim to foster innovation and sustainable growth in the transportation sector, this study advances understanding of the academic environment around the electric four-wheeler market.
