Summary:Composite materials with macroheterogeneous structure are a relatively new class of composites and are of great interest for application in heavy-duty friction, allowing sometimes to abandon bearings. Currently in practical use is made of composite materials with a matrix based on copper alloys. Scientific and practical interest and alloys based on aluminum, which will reduce the material cost and weight, as well as expand the range of products obtained. In work the method of synthesis of composite materials in induction melting, considered their tribological properties.
