Aproveitamos o achado de peças cerâmicas de cuidada elaboração para fazer uma reflexão sobre a presença da tradição ceramista policrômica tupiguarani na região do semiárido do Brasil.
ABSTRACT
In the article in question, we refer to the discovery of a site with Tupi-guarani pottery of polychrome sub tradition in the municipality of Brejo Santo, Ceará, during the archaeological monitoring in the works of the Integration Project of the Sao Francisco river with the basins of the northern Northeast. We take the finding of ceramic pieces of careful preparation in the Sertão of Ceará, to reflect on the presence of polychrome Tupi-guarani ceramist tradition in the semi-arid region of Brazil.
