description This paper examines the linguistic personality of Peter Zakharov, one of the most prominent representatives of modern Udmurt literature, through the prism of a fundamental linguapoetic category. The artistic contexts of the poems of the Udmurt poet are analysed using the linguapoetic methodology. The most frequent temporal models are identified and their structural and compositional characteristics are given. It is emphasised that the temporal code is one of the key components of the poetically embodied Udmurt linguistic personality. It has been established that the work of P. Zakharov is distinguished by the reality of an originally constructed dialogue between One’s Own/ethnospecific and the Other, the world. Being an Udmurt-language writer, he consistently masters the most diverse layers of world culture and literature. In this sense, Peter Zakharov can be called a like-minded person, a creative ally of Doctor of Philology, Professor Tamara Ivanovna Zelenina, who in her scientific works, lectures, and professional communications defends the importance of intercultural interaction and cooperation. It is obvious that one of the key points of growth and development of Udmurt culture, language, and literature is attention to the other, to the world, to the new.
