In order to capture this labyrinthine translation of meanings within the urban space, a detailed analysis of some scenes from the film was conducted, particularly those emphasizing the multiplicity of concrete and dreamlike experiences in Lisbon. The choice was made to explore the mythical origin, historical trajectory, and transformations experienced by the city, drawing from Pessoa’s perspective present in the Livro do Desassossego, the poem “Tabacaria” by Álvaro de Campos, and examples from orthonymous poetry. |
