Description
Summary:In the Lobi country of Burkina Faso, the development of tourismset within the framework of the local heritagesculpts a regional scheme in the mode of “to do – to see”. From the museum to the villages, the exchanges amongst protagonists appear more and more formal and standardized. However, each particular situation slightly reveals the margins of action and the experimentations in progress. By focusing the analysis on the reinterpretation of the visited places, we will see how a space-time of the tourist encounter can be invented in the context of an emerging cultural tourism.
