Description
Summary:Amidst the uncertainty and volatility in the movement of international goods flow until 2022, a new factor emerged in February 2020, compressing international trade: Covid-19 and its impact on the global economy. Based on this preliminary understanding, the following guiding question arises: How did the flow of export and import goods function during the Covid-19 pandemic in the municipality of Santana/AP? To answer this question, this research aims to analyze the flow of exports and imports in the municipality of Santana/AP from 2020 to 2022. The theme addressed highlights its importance in providing an analysis of the existing logistics process in the international goods flow in the municipality of Santana/AP. The methodology employed in this study was planned to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and reliability of the data collected and analyzed. The study was based on a literature review, which included books, scientific articles, theses, and dissertations from renowned authors in the field. This study is classified as exploratory in nature, adopting a quantitative approach. An initial reduction in the volume of goods moved was observed, followed by a gradual adaptation to the new conditions imposed by the pandemic. The implementation of strict sanitary measures, the adaptation of port operations, and the resilience of supply chains were essential to mitigate the negative effects.
