description Salah or prayer is the second of the five pillars of Islam. It is the most basic belief and obligatory act for Muslims, and it needs to be performed five-times a day. All Muslims, both the male and female, need to go through certain actions and body movements governed by a set of specific rules and conditions while performing prayer. Although the five prescribed daily prayers are obligatory for Muslims from post puberty, it is, however, advised children to pray voluntarily right from their childhood. It is, thus, extremely important to educate children about the step-by-step actions of salah and enable them to apply this step-by-step knowledge in performing salah. The use of demonstration method is highly useful to educate children in this regard. This study was, therefore, conducted to achieve three key objectives. First. it examined the current level of students’ knowledge about the step-by-step actions of salah and how they apply this knowledge in performing salah. Second, it examined the impact of demonstration method on improving children’s knowledge about the step-by-step actions of salah and their application in performing salah. Finally, this study investigated the differences between the children’s knowledge about the step-by-step actions of salah and its application in performing salah. This study used pre-test and post-test experimental research design, along with its descriptive nature. Fifty-three (53) students, currently studying in 5th, 6th, and 7th grade of the Bahauddin Zakariya University Model School and College, Multan, both the male and female, were purposefully selected as a sample for this study. For data collection, an observation sheet was developed as a research tool to examine students’ knowledge about the step-by-step actions of the salah and their application in performing salah. This sheet comprised 51 closed-ended question, enlisting all step-by-step actions of salah, starting from the first action of Takbeer Tahrimah to the last action of Salaam (salutation). This study found that students have very high knowledge about the all step-by-step actions of salah but their application in performing salah is moderate-high. Furthermore, this study found that use of the demonstration method has statistically significant positive impact on improving students’ knowledge about the step-by-step actions of the salah and their application in performing salah. This study also found that students’ knowledge about the all step-by-step actions of salah in performing salah is higher than their application.
