These forms of racism are expressed in environmental suffering, which affects health and livelihood, and should be understood as a way to ethnically eliminate people in territory, causing the slow deaths of Afro-Ecuadorian populations through actions and a lack of actions that comprise their health. The antiracist struggle consists of remaining in the territory and appealing to the right of ancestral possession as Afro-Ecuadorian peoples and to the rights of nature in the Constitution of 2008. |
