Summary:The gradual development of the system of children's art schools led to the diversity and expansion of their activities, as well as to the transformation of each of them into a cultural and educational center. In the realities of modern socio-economic processes, the initiative of a children's art school becomes its responsibility, and concert and creative activity as a performing practice within the framework of the implementation of educational programs is defined as the norm and responsibility of the school to carry out this activity for residents of the territory on a par with cultural organizations. The analysis of the ongoing changes, the search for a further path for the development of schools, taking into account the demands of the state and society, the formation of the cultural environment of the region, the balance of all components of the activities of the children's school is the area of scientific interests of the presented study. During the study, it is planned: the use of statistical analysis methods, questioning, modeling, generalization, in addition, the collection and processing of data characterizing the requests, needs, opinions and suggestions of various population groups (respondents) in programs implemented by children's art schools and services will be carried out provided by schools; conducted, transcribed and processed interviews with experts in the field of art education: cultural and art workers, economists, sociologists, psychologists, managers, municipal leaders. The hypothesis of the study, related to understanding the special role of the children's art school as a cultural, educational, socio-cultural center that influences the formation and development of the cultural environment in the region, will serve as the basis for assessing the capabilities of children's art schools, their material and non-material resources, and finding mechanisms for measuring the results of their activities. , forecasting the desired socio-economic effect. And as a result - the choice of a further path for the development of children's art schools. The progressive transformation of children's art schools into organizations that combine cultural, educational and educational functions in their activities determines the need for in-depth research on ongoing processes. An analysis of the changes that have taken place will make it possible to predict the further integration of culture and education as a way of effectively forming a spiritual and moral personality and creating conditions for the creative realization of young talents.
