Description
Summary:The ideas of philosophy and Spain hold a problematic place within Spanish life. By questioning ourselves about the levels of complexity of this phenomenon, we start a research process aiming at the discovery of an ignored place where a certain thought banned from the boundaries of the philosophical orthodoxy is hidden. We particularly refer to the intersections between philosophy and literature occurring in several Spanish masterpieces, as well as to a technique of thinking which uses a work to develop an innovative reflection. A distinguished example is given by the Meditaciones del Quijote by Ortega y Gasset, where Cervantes’ work is at the same time object and starting point for a deep analytical exercise. The latter produces in turn a philosophical writing who finds in the edges and the footnotes its field of action. The edition of Julián Marías, with his introduction and abundant notes, will double this inter-philosophical dialogue. Our interest is here focusing on this thought by layers or of the mise en abyme. We believe it brings a sui generis kind of philosophical interlocution, extremely fruitful, to which we refer in this work as vital dialogism.
