Summary: | The study deals with interpretation of the female Franciscans saints in the early modern Czech lands. Although the sainthood was ascribed to clerical and religious at that time, four of these Franciscans saints were laypersons and members of the Third order, only one was the nun. These affiliation to the tertiaries meant extensive field for various explications. The work with the biographies of these saints, there were created in the Czech or nearest Franciscan provinces, is subject of following lines.
