| Summary: | Traditionally satellite communications have relied directly on the full system construction with satellite and ground elements (called "large-scale system") for verification of their effectiveness, resulting in high cost and long time period. Firstly this paper proposed an innovative test verification method for satellite communications based on the ground integrated monitoring verification system (called "small-scale system"). Took 5G NTN system as an example, it established related test environment, designed verification solutions, and conducted a series of key test examples. Secondly, the value of "small-scale system" introduced in the process of satellite communication test was demonstrated to be very useful, which not only acts as a pre-verification of the correctness of system design and thus reduced the risk of large-scale system test, but also significantly improved the verification efficiency compared to traditional test verification methods. |
