Mater. 22, 869888 (2021). https://doi.org/10.1007/s42341-021-00312-5. The journal editor assessed the articles and concluded that the data and the results presented by the authors constitute redundant publication. The authors were asked to comment upon these concerns but were unable to satisfactorily address the reason for the similarities. Consequently, the editor no longer has confidence in the article and has decided to retract it. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.The authors have not responded to the retraction notice. |
