| Summary: | Measuring sustainable development is a hot topic in specialized studies. The aim of this study is to compare the Danube counties of the South-Muntenia Development Region in terms of sustainable development. For this, several indicators of sustainable development have been selected. The indicators were analyzed by calculating and comparing averages and average growth rates. Depending on the averages of the analyzed indicators and compared to the other three counties, Teleorman County ranks first. However, the average growth rates are low and even negative and denote the fact that the Danube counties of the South-Muntenia Development Region face different problems in the management of sustainable development. |
