Description
Summary:Abstract This study proposes a novel process for treating oily wastewater by integrating pretreatment, combined air flotation, and fine multi-stage filtration. The process innovates and optimizes common technologies. The aim is to efficiently remove oil and suspended matter from wastewater discharged from accidental oil catchment basins at transformer substations. This ensures that the quality of discharged wastewater meets standards. Additionally, parameter settings throughout the process were optimized to determine the most effective configurations, ensuring energy-efficient and cost-effective operation while effectively treating oily wastewater. This research serves as a foundation for developing more efficient and environmentally friendly treatment processes for oily wastewater. It offers practical, sustainable solutions for industries facing challenges in oily wastewater treatment.
