Description
Summary:This paper presents a detailed analysis of Ecuador’s non-oil exports over ten years. The study was performed using the SPEM methodology and data-cleaning processes. The results highlight a notable coherence in analyzing the most relevant export items and the main trading partners, providing essential information for strategic decision-making. Furthermore, recommendations related to the technical conditions necessary to achieve precise and accurate communication through data visualization were considered, and adequate answers to the questions generated in the business knowledge stage contributed to the users’ knowledge. Furthermore, the study suggests incorporating import data to enhance the analysis and provide a foundation for future research in this area.
