Those who directly experienced the division of the subcontinent have made it the subject of their writings. There are many effects of nostalgia in the novel “Aagy Samandar Hai” How the partition destroyed the houses and then how the people tried to rebuild them, what mental agonies they went through, how many psychological and physical difficulties they faced in leaving the land of their ancestors, and What is the tragedy of memory.
