Description
Summary:In an all-digital society where private and professional spheres are now digitalized, coworking spaces are observed as the receptacle of new forms and practices of work offering new possibilities of development to rural and peri-urban territories. This article, resulting from a doctoral research project, deals with the multisectoral nature of the territorial impacts of coworking spaces, located in low density territories, referring here to rural and peri-urban areas. The results presented show positive signals regarding the effects of coworking spaces on territorial development, the rural economy, and business conditions but do not allow us to affirm their real contribution to the rebalancing of territories.
