| description | The study aims to analyze Arab and foreign intellectual contributions in the field of institutional digital repositories in order to identify their characteristics, the most prominent Arab and foreign models of digital repositories, and discover the role of these institutional repositories in disseminating scientific production in various information institutions and enhancing scientific communication between researchers, and the study relies on the descriptive approach. Analytical, and is based on the extrapolation and examination of the Arab and foreign intellectual success in the field. A total of 81 studies published from April 2018 to October 2021 were in the form of studies and articles in periodicals 72.8%, conference papers 21.25% and university theses 6.25%. Among the studies that received the largest number of research results was the role of institutional digital repositories as an important indicator to highlight this role among researchers, while the least addressed topics were topics related to the most important modern fields such as: artificial intelligence, cloud computing, augmented and virtual reality, and other topics related to importance at the moment. The study concluded with the most important results and recommendations that were monitored and extracted from conducting this study. |
