Summary:Abstract Stroke is often found among the public as a disease that interferes with the sufferer's activities and can even cause death. According to World Health Organization (2016) noted that stroke is the main cause of disability throughout the world and is the second leading cause of death. Stroke is a disease that causes changes in lifestyle such as mobility, emotions, attitudes, and even communication. The condition of stroke patients who experience limitations in their activities makes stroke patients need it family caregiver who can help with all your needs. This can cause burden and stress on family caregiver itself. The aim of this research is to analyze the factors most related to stress family caregiver in caring for patients with stroke. This research design uses a literature review, with 16 articles published from 2017-2024 in Indonesian or English, as well as complete articles. The literature review protocol and evaluation uses the PRISMA checklist to determine the selection of studies that have been found and adapted to the objectives of the literature review. There are factors that can cause stress family caregiver in caring for patients with stroke include (1) age; (2) Length of Care; (3) Gender; (4) Burden borne by family caregiver; as well as (5) Social support received by family caregiver from another family.
