description This article describes the current problem of the generation of the energy-efficient personnel in Russia. It discusses the main causes of the energy sector personnel’s incompetence, indicates the trends and perspectives of their education and training. Besides, the article gives the positive examples of the training of energy managers. Children are considered to be the most receptive towards the energy-saving model. That is why concepts of this model should be brought up starting from junior school. It is highly recommended to use the modern training methodology to produce energy-efficient personnel.
