While the first studied Geography as a way to know the meaning of its existence ‘I want to know what we do here, what we want from life’, the second responded to ‘an accumulation of hazards and especially favorable professional opportunities’. Capel would soon discover that the geographer's vision is very specific and characteristic: ‘it allows to see aspects that others do not perceive’. |
