| Summary: | Hrebenyk M, Maslii S, Shevchuk O, Komorovsky R, Korda M. Ther Clin Risk Manag. 2025;21:995—1007.
The authors have advised there is an error on page 1000, paragraph 3, several correlation coefficients were printed without leading zeros (eg, r = 238 instead of r = 0.238). This was a formatting oversight, which does not affect the interpretation of the data. The correct text should read as follows.
Even though area of lung damage was not significantly different in studied groups we found weak correlation between the size of damaged area and COVID-19 severity (r=0.238, p<0.001), HP complications (r=0.276, p=0.003), presence of concomitant DM (r=0.134, p=0.047), cardiac arrhythmias (r=0.156, p=0.022) and myocardial impaired relaxation (r=0.241, p=0.037).
The authors have also advised that there is an error in Table 2 on page 1001 of the published article. In the upper section of the table “Hypertension complications”, the column containing absolute numbers (n1) was inadvertently shifted, and the values were incorrectly displayed under the percentage (%) column. As a result, the frequencies of individual complications were misrepresented. This error does not affect the results described in the main text or the conclusions of the study. The correct Table 2 is as follows.
Table 2 The Most Common Complications of HP and Treatment Modalities of HP and DM in the Studied Cohort (Absolute Numbers, %).
