Summary: | Marguerite Salvador-Aflallo is the daughter of Josep Salvador. Salvador’s "Librairie des Editions Espagnoles" in Toulouse became an essential place for exiled Spanish Republicans. Marguerite Salvador-Aflallo has donated several documents about the bookshop and her father’s life and career to the Study and Heritage Library in Toulouse as well as that city’s Municipal Archives. She has also given a large collection of publications to the "Instituto Cervantes of Toulouse", to the Museum of the Exile of the Junquera and to the Archives of Palafrugell. In this work, she explains the reasons for these gifts and analyses the impact of this family legacy. |
