| Summary: | Allelopathy is the interaction of plants on each other through releasing allelochemicals in environment. In this study, allelopathic effects of sacsaoul (Haloxylon ammodenderon)aerial and underground parts extracts, in a compeletly randomized design (CRD) with 5 replications was tested on seed germination speed and percent root and shoot length, wet and dry weight of standard crested wheat grass (Agropyron desertorum). Seven leveles of extracts including 0, 10, 15, 25, 50, 75 and 100% were used. Results showed extract of sacsaoul (Haloxylon ammodenderon)inall levelesreduced the germination of standard crested wheat grass (Agropyron desertorum)seeds. In addition, the increasing density of extract, its inhabitation effects enhanced and subsequently decreased mean of seedling factors. Besides aerial parts inhabitation effects of sacsaoul (Haloxylon ammodenderon)on seed germination and seedling characteristics of Agropyron desertrum were more than the root extracts effects. Totally, results showed that not use of Agropyron desertrum for forage production in rangelands that has cultivated Haloxylon ammodenderon for soil improvement and control of wind erosion. Because aerial parts inhabitation effects of sacsaoul (Haloxylon ammodenderon), cause that standard crested wheat grass (Agropyron desertorum)hasnandrsquo;t had desirable and economical production. Therefore, recommend that similar researches do on other species. |
