Description
Summary:Investigation and comparative assessment of the activity of matrix metalloproteinases MMP-9 and MMP-2 in 187 patients with chronic ischemic heart disease and all forms of acute coronary syndrome mean age 62 ± 1,5 years in applying the standard basic therapy, thrombolytic and antithrombin therapy was carried out. It was established, that in patients with acute co¬ronary syndrome and chronic ischemic heart disease; diverse changes in activity of the processes of proteolysis are observed, the presence of heart failure leads to a comparative increase in the activity of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in patients with acute coronary syndrome, but a greater effect on these processes causes the time of the beginning of treatment and receiving thrombolytic therapy; significant increasing activity of both matrix metal-proteinases is associated with the long process of formation and progression of heart failure, with the development of severe chronic heart failure, a gradual decrease in activity of matrix metal-proteinases.
