Summary:Kızılkabaağaç settlement was discovered in Eşme district in 2020 during the EBA surveys conducted in Uşak province in Innerwest Anatolia. This settlement, which was re-examined in 2021, is dated to the EBA 1-2 period and is related to the Yortan culture. The Yortan culture is only known for its cemetery finds and its dark-faced wares includes incision, groove and white paint decorations that attract attention. It is known that this culture spread in Manisa and Balıkesir regions during the EBA. The discovery of a Yortan type jug in Kızılkabaağaç is important in terms of showing the connection of the Uşak region with the Yortan culture. Besides, many painted bowls were found. Bowls that limited in Yortan are plenty in here. Samples belong to the other forms are also given in this article. Kızılkabaağaç settlement is an important settlement showing that Yortan culture has expanded towards the Uşak region. This settlement which is thought to be related to Beycesultan as well as Yortan Culture is in a region where these two cultures intersect. The studies to be conducted here will contribute to the understand these cultures.
