Este artigo tem por objetivo pontuar questões relevantes da atualidade, assim como os desafios enfrentados num mundo globalizado. Num primeiro momento, será analisada a trajetória dos direitos humanos, passando-se pelo crivo da cultura e assim evidenciando os contrastes no cenário multicultural. O movimento seguinte será direcionado à questão identitária, numa abordagem de reconfiguração da teia social decorrente do surgimento do pensamento liberal, explicitando a insuficiência de uma política multicultural no trato das diferenças. Na terceira etapa, será desenvolvida uma noção de transculturalismo como uma via de possível reajuste na concepção das relações sociais por estar em melhor conformidade com a realidade em que vivemos; desse modo, propondo um diálogo mais transparente com os direitos humanos, voltando-se com um olhar mais inclusivo frente às diferenças.
ABSTRACT
This article aims at highlighting relevant contemporary issues and challenges in a globalized world. At first, I will study the human rights trajectory by examining the culture and thus underlining the contrasts in the multicultural scenario. Secondly, I will raise the issue of identity through an approach of social web reconfiguration originating from the emergence of liberal thought, drawing attention to insufficient multicultural policies to effectively deal with differences. Next, I will present a notion of transculturalism as a route to possible adjustments in the design of social relations to better comply with the reality in which we live. Hence, I propose a more transparent dialogue with human rights to the promotion of a more inclusive approach towards cultural differences. |
