Description
Summary:The study of sustainable female entrepreneurship emerges as a critical research area, integrating gender and sustainability perspectives in the business context. The study aims to analyze the current state of scientific research on female entrepreneurship and sustainability over the last 15 years. A bibliometric analysis is performed for the method, reaching 733 publications between 2010 and 2024. The findings show an exponential growth in the number of publications, reflecting the growing interest in the subject. In addition, four main thematic groupings and a geographical diversity in research production were identified, although with unequal representation. This study provides an overview of the evolution and different perspectives on women’s sustainable entrepreneurship. It also offers important opportunities, gaps and future directions for research and policy formulation by public and private, national and international organizations.
