| Summary: | Rubidium (Rb), a rare alkali metal with distinctive physicochemical properties, has been widely used in various fields, including magnetic fluid power generation, rubidium atomic clocks, special glass, and medicine. With the research progress of rubidium and rubidium-containing materials both domestically and internationally, the scope of their applications continues to broaden and deepen. The latest research progress on the application of rubidium and rubidium-containting materials in the fields of catalysis, photovoltaic, luminescent, energy-saving are reviewed in this paper, with a focus on strategies to enhance the performance of these materials, such as ion doping and the fabrication of composite materials. It is noted that while rubidium-containing materials exhibit significant potential across multiple application domains, many of these applications are still in the research phase. Future research should focus on improving material performance, product stability, and service life, as well as the reduction of production costs. |
