Description
Summary:The article focuses on the collection of sixteenth-century publishers’ catalogues gathered by Antoine-Augustin Renouard (1765-1853) and, more specifically, on its dispersion, with the aim of reconstructing the history and current location of his copies. This research led to the discovery of a Sammelband of manuscript and printed materials relating to the Aldine Press which was owned by the same Renouard and is now kept at the Universitätsbibliothek in Tübingen. The most interesting pieces are commented on, and a detailed description of the Sammelband contents is provided in the appendix.
