Description
Summary:Seven different commercialwine vinegars from Turkey were analyzed to verify the presence of phenoliccompounds. A sensitive, simple and accurate method was developed to determineeight bioactive phenolic compounds (chlorgenic acid, caffeic acid, p-coumericacid, rutin, ferullic acid, quercetin, naringenin, kaempferol). Quantificationand idendification of phenolic compounds was carried out by a validated HPLC–UVmethod. The analytical parameters were eveluated, establishing limit ofdetections, LODs (from 0.01 to 0.02 mg L− 1)and limit of quantifications, LOQs (from 0.03 to 0.06 mg L− 1) in the present method. The correlation coefficients wereall above 0.998. The method was validated for specificity, linearity andprecision.
