| Summary: | This paper describes the Statistics Machine Translation (STMT) application to translate from Vietnamese into K’Ho. Both Vietnamese and K’Ho are in the same South Asian language family but they belong to different language groups, so the vocabulary, phrases, and sentences are used for language translation instead of the method based on general syntactic rules. The design principles of the application are described in detail, along with the system interface. Several machine translation results are also presented to illustrate the applicability of the STMT method. |
