Description
Summary:This article proposes to question the reception of theatre by young and very young public, based on the first results of an action-research in progress, associating sociologists of art and education around an artistic and cultural project intended for early childhood, proposed by one of the principal scenes of the town of Marseille (the théâtre du Merlan, national scene). From a theoretical and methodological reflection on the concept of reception, it seizes the reception of the theatre for young audience in acts and underlines several dimensions, at the same time sensory, emotional, cognitive, interactive and regulating, which characterize this reception. Moreover, it highlights differentiations which cross these first theatrical experiments, whether these are related on the age of the children or the type of audience (collective structure or family) concerned.
