Description
Summary:The purpose of this article is to analyse the impact of energy issues on the evolution of the urban landscape of inner Paris, essentially on the appearance of buildings and the presence of plants. Their transformations are analysed, first of all, in the light of the French Climate Change Plan and of the energy impact of the implementation of the Paris Biodiversity Plan; based on the study of recent projects the article then goes on to detail the changes on the different scales of the district, the street block, and the building. It is considered that attempts to solve energy issues foster a greater interweaving between buildings, plants and the presence of water, affecting the relationships between these elements by immersing the urban landscape of the capital within its territory. Even if these changes are not exclusively due to energy constraints, they nevertheless indirectly result from them.
