description Abstract Developing novel materials is crucial for human prosperity and addressing climate challenges. Perovskite materials, notable for their structural versatility, high electronic mobility, and exceptional optical properties, are promising candidates for photovoltaic cells, fuel cells, and catalytic processes. Single-atom catalysts (SACs), known for their high activity, stability, and tunability, play pivotal roles in energy conversion and environmental protection. This review explored the integration of perovskite materials as SAC support matrices (single-atom-perovskite catalysts, denoted as SA-PC). This approach seeks to mitigate the limitations of each component while amplifying its strengths. Intriguingly, these catalysts are gaining attention due to the combination of the enhanced charge separation and transfer capabilities of SACs with the structural adaptability of perovskites. Their stability and efficiency offer enhanced performance and highlight their potential in advanced catalytic applications. This review systematically examines the synthesis methods, characterization techniques, and diverse applications of SA-PCs, addresses the current limitations, and proposes solutions to pave the way for research and development.
