Summary:The article discusses implemented in MADI project-oriented educational methods as an effective instrument for active learning. Project-oriented and problem-based learning can solve a great number of didactic and pedagogical tasks as it provides formation of students' universal and professional competences and reveals their personal potential. MADI applies a system approach to the comprehensive development of personality of each future engineer by creating a set of conditions for students' diverse extracurricular activities according to their individual needs, abilities and characteristics.
