Description
Summary:Myth is a component part of our reality; its signs can be read on buildings, theater posters, book covers. Obviously, its essence can be seen in literary works, paintings, sculptures, jewelry. The myth’s labyrinth remains the center of attention, signifying man’s search. Through art we notice the metamorphoses of the myth, which also diagnoses the conceptual transformations of man living in a historical context, which imposes certain social transformations, cultural connections, new technical ways. However, the essential force is the artist’s individuality in which both immediately recognizable aspects and hidden elements shine through and are layered. The hermeneutic method of the myth presents the route of the actualization of the ancient myth involved in different arts.
