description The main railway station has become a complex and multi-scale system in which users in transit sometimes find it difficult to orientate themselves and move around. In order to improve the comprehension and accessibility of these hubs and, in response to the expectations of managers and designers, the article analyzes the movement of non-regular users in this labyrinthine environment using the concept of “way-finding”. It offers an original method of analysing and of viewing travel data filmed on the site of the station of La Part-Dieu in Lyon (France).
