The review provides an overview of successful and unsuccessful cases, demonstrating what determines efficacy in healthcare interface design. The discussion extends to cover the role of interactive interfaces in streamlining clinical workflows, facilitating communication and collaboration, and supporting informed decision-making among healthcare providers. This paper focuses on historical views and milestones of interface design, emphasizing the significance of interactive interfaces.
