description The adventures of young Calvin and his tiger Hobbes were published each and every day for ten years (1985-1995). Regarding our subject, this work is essential because it is all built around two diverging visions of the world and its reality : Calvin’s singular vision versus that of the grown-ups. These conflicting points of view can be considered as a specific way of « tearing up » the strip ; I would like to analyse it from a stylistic angle, particularly its formal implementations in the strip and its effect on the act of reading.
