description | The article presents the results of studies on improving
the efficiency of electrical power redundancy systems in
power supply systems of railway DC vehicles by improving
the technological modes of traction substations. There are
presented scientifically based technical solutions of the
hardware, a control algorithm of the power reserve system
for traction substations with two converter units and a
methodology for selecting places for installing automatic
power reserve systems to increase the efficiency of the
power supply system for railway vehicles. Practical testing
of the developed technical and technological solutions has
shown the effectiveness of their use in operating conditions. |
