Summary:School system is marked by cultural logics that constitute an educational event to overcome for the actors. Indeed, social areas where poverty and common cultural origins are concentrated affect the access to the understanding of school expectations and affect the kind of professional experience. In these areas, or the requirement by identifying the art, nor the knowledge or skills are insufficient to define the work of professionals faced with socio-cultural logic questioning and destabilize them. After examinating some questions on the irruption of cultural identities on the school stage, we focus specifically on the nature of the difficulties faced by teachers. We finally show the importance of considering the development of specific competences for the management of cultural diversity, competences that are increasingly demanding more and more autonomy and adaptation.
