| Summary: | Communicating with ethnic minority audiences in their own language is a particularly important matter which has also attracted the State’s attention for years. Lamdong is a province where many ethnic minority people live; thus it also has radio and television for these particular audiences. This article focuses on journalism and the audience in a unified relationship. We will: firstly, research the current status of radio and television for ethnic minorities in Lamdong in terms of content, form and other factors; secondly, survey the demand for information by people from ethnic minorities in Lamdong province. From comparison and evaluation of the findings, initial solutions and recommendations will be given to improve the quality of specialized journalism for local ethnic minorities in the future. |
