Description
Summary:This study explores the intersection of sustainable development, corporate strategies, and financing mechanisms to foster a green economy within the food industry, emphasizing the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). As global challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and food security intensify, businesses are increasingly pressured to adopt sustainable practices. This paper evaluates how firms in the food sector integrate CSR principles into their strategic planning to drive environmental and economic sustainability. It investigates financial instruments, including green bonds, impact investments, and sustainability-linked loans, as tools to support eco-friendly innovations and operations. Through a mixed-method approach combining case studies and quantitative analysis, the research highlights best practices and identifies barriers to sustainable financing. Findings reveal that proactive CSR policies not only enhance environmental performance but also generate competitive advantages and long-term value creation. The paper concludes with recommendations for policymakers, industry leaders, and investors to align financial strategies with sustainability goals, contributing to a resilient and inclusive green economy.
