Summary:Sunday, June 28, 1914, the world will change in the days of a political murder was carried out. Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Austro-Hungarian Empire in Sarajevo visit with his wife and both died as a result of an assassination. The Sarajevo assassination, referred in the history texts as “spark” of the First World War or “like a clap of thunder to Europe”. In Serbia, the secret organization “Black Hand” engaged in activities for the unity of Serbs; together with Gavrilo Princip and Nedjelko Cabrinovic, Trifko Grabez, Muhamed Mehmedbasic, Vaso Cubriloviç , Cvijetko Popoviç had a mystical trip to the assassination plot. The background of the assassination in Sarajevo, causes and consequences of the assassination will be discussed in this study.
